How significant was it?
- 15 minSignificance test: how many people did it affect, how deeply, for how long, and does it still matter today? Score your event and justify each score.
- 10 minJudge in context: was the decision reasonable given what people knew and believed at the time? Was it fair by the standards of its own time as well as ours?
- 25 minFinish your campaign piece: poster, short video script, exhibition panel or leaflet. Add a 'sources' box and a 'what we still don't know' box.

Present to decision-makers
- 10 minSet up the exhibition or campaign stall.
- 30 minPresent to your invited audience: council or community board members, an iwi organisation, the school board or whānau. Take their questions.
- 10 minReflect: what question from the audience made you think hardest? What would you change?

Stretch
Write a formal submission or letter to a council, the school board or an MP about how your agreement should be recognised today.
Checkpoint
The final piece uses evidence from several perspectives, answers a counter-argument and states its limits.
