Install and rehearse
- 10 minFinish the artist statement and a short label (title, materials, one sentence).
- 30 minInstall the exhibition with the organiser: placement, sight lines, lighting, visual diaries on a table beside the works.
- 10 minRehearse a 30-second artist talk with a partner playing a curious visitor.
Session 2 · CREATE: Exhibit
Showcase and reflect
- 35 minOpen the exhibition. Talk with visitors about your intent and process, and collect written responses.
- 15 minReflect in your diary: which response surprised you? Did the work do what your success criteria said it must? What would you transform next time?
Getting started
Talk to visitors with a partner and use the process page as a prompt.
Stretch
Write a short catalogue introduction for the whole exhibition, naming the connecting idea.
Checkpoint
The work and statement communicate a clear intent to a real audience, and the diary shows how it got there.
