- 25 minRevise for impact first (hook, evidence, call to action), then edit spelling, punctuation and paragraphing.
- 10 minCut your piece down to a one-minute speech on cue cards: hook, best reason, call to action.
Session 2 · AUTHOR: Respond
Publish and reflect
- 30 minPublish in the anthology or newsletter, and deliver your one-minute speech to a small group, a class visitor or assembly.
- 15 minWriter's note: explain three deliberate choices you made and who they were aimed at.
- 5 minReflect: what did your audience say or do? How do you know your words landed?

Send your piece to the real decision-maker with a short covering note, and share any reply with the class.
