How strong is our history?
- 15 minEvidence rating: give each of your sources a rating for how useful it is for your question, with a reason. Whose voices are strongest? Whose are missing?
- 25 minFinish the sourced narrative: what changed, for whom, and why. Add the 'What our sources do not show' box.
- 10 minPeer check with a partner group: is every claim backed by a source? Is more than one perspective present?
Session 2 · TRACE: Evaluate
Exhibition day
- 10 minSet up the exhibition: panels, the timeline wall and object labels.
- 30 minPresent to whānau and your invited audience (museum, marae or heritage group), or record your talk for them. Visitors leave one question on each panel.
- 10 minReflect: what do you now understand differently about your place, and what would you still like to find out?

Present one source and what it shows about your place.
Stretch
Recommend how your place's story could be told more fairly: a new plaque, a sign with a te reo name or a web page, checked with mana whenua.
Checkpoint
The narrative cites at least three sources, shows more than one perspective and names what is still unknown.
