Session 1 · THRIVE: Value
Kai to share
- 10 minValues: what matters most in your lunch? Health, cost, culture, taste, less waste? Rank them as a group.
- 30 minMake and share the lunches with your audience (a junior class, whānau or the class), with a short explanation card for each.
- 10 minCollect feedback: taste, would you eat it again, one thing to change.
Session 2 · THRIVE: Evaluate
Did our lunch pass the test?
- 15 minCheck your lunch against the brief: balanced plate, budget, appeal. Use the feedback tally.
- 20 minFinish your label detective guide or honest ad for younger students, using what you learned.
- 15 minReflect: what will you look for next time you choose a drink or a snack? What surprised you most?
Getting started
Evaluate with three ticks: balanced? affordable? enjoyed?
Stretch
Write a short recommendation to the school lunch provider or canteen, backed by your label comparisons and feedback.
Checkpoint
A shared lunch, an evaluation against the brief, and a guide or honest ad ready for a younger audience.
